It’s now official: mankind emitted in 2011 more carbon dioxide than in any other year, despite the desperate call from the science community and environmental groups to reduce these emissions to prevent disastrous climate changes.
We, wealthy, shallow, mindless westerners, we do not have the slightest intention to curb our wastefulness in any fashion because our wastefulness is the very essence of our identity.
We’ll cheerfully loot this world until we turn it into a desert.
And then, nothing. We’ll all be dead.
By then, some will have figured out how to live permanently in a bubble it will only be the remainder of us poor lowly humans that will be dead.
